Little Haiti Housing Association, Inc. is using its NSP funds to expand its current Single Family Housing Development Program (SFHDP). For the past decade, we have developed/facilitated the closings of over 300 single-family units in area the cities of Miami, North Miami and North Miami Beach and more recently in the City of Miami Gardens. Our client profile is primarily Haitian and Haitian-Americans residing in Little Haiti and surrounding areas. Historically, their income falls within the categories of 45% to 80% of Miami-Dade County AMI. LHHA staff has demonstrated capacity in assisting these families in obtaining down payment assistance from the various municipalities.

Our program is marketed throughout the community using local churches, community centers, neighborhood businesses, major employers as outreach centers. Our partners include Miami-Dade NSP consortium, Miami-Dade County Housing and Community Development, Miami-Metro Action Plan Trust, City of North Miami and key financial institutions. We are proud of our program and are happy to continue to provide these services in the community.
